My goal being a private teacher is actually to form in my students a deep recognition and confidence at exams and managing to deal with unknown situations. The base of my theory is the idea that learning occurs in an area of reciprocal appreciation in which the learner is motivated to think and find new connections on their own. According to my practical experience individual tuition has a special usefulness to learners due to the ability to break down the scholars' own difficulties to learning in a way which sets the roots for a thorough and lengthy understanding of the course.
Student’s needs and learning style meaning
My approach varies depending on the scholar's learning style and needs. Though, the basis of my teaching philosophy is stimulating scholars to think on their own, employing real-world examples as long as they can. |My opinion is that it is really important to provide students with a working knowledge and to develop problem-solving abilities for establishing upon this knowledge. Teaching a person to think critically is at the fundamental of what exactly a student must take away off any subject class.
The most important contribution
The most enduring contributions a coach can bring in is coaching students, and it is a technique, that I find pleasurable and rewarding. From my experience, I learned the value of involving scholars by using examples and of pitching content at a level which implies mentality but not necessarily knowledge, mixing the unknown with the known in a solution that brings the child the disposition of possibility instead of that one of impossibility that impressive and official techniques may lay down.
Using a lot of practising
I start from topics the learners are familiar with and step progressively to more complex parts as their peace of mind is being developed. I don't ever lecture to learners or request them to remember things.
I normally focus on exam-style or last paper questions in order to examine, exercise and refine the student's grasping and technique. I will also give a lot of attention to some of the not so much vital but obvious abilities for instance, essay structure and technique, logical thought, and the useful use of graphs and numbers.
